Friday, March 12, 2010: "65 Roses" Walk
Join us for a pleasant walk and raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects many children. Most are so young when their lives are consumed by the disease that they pronounce the disease "65 roses" instead of Cystic Fibrosis. There is still no cure for the disease, but with your involvement, donations, or even just walking with us to raise awareness we can and we will make a difference. Please contact us if you'd like to make a donation or participate in the "65 Roses" Walk.
American Cancer Society Raffle
We are currently seeking donations from vendors, local businesses, or even your own home businesses who are willing to participate in our American Cancer Society Raffle this upcoming June. The raffle will be open to the public and all donations big or small are appreciated. We will create themed baskets and also offer advertising incentives for larger donations. Tickets will go on sale late April or early May. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Please contact us if you are interested in donating goods (even gift cards are welcome) or would like to purchase raffle tickets. The raffle will be virtual for non-members so you do not need to attend any special event in order to win.
